Why we need this Audiometric Test?:
- Occupational hearing loss is one of the leading causes of work – related disorders.
- Audiometric examination, especially for those people are potentially exposed to an equivalent sound pressure level of 85 dBA over an 8 -hour work day (eg.Driven Piles activity and Bored piling ‘kellly bar’ sound).
- For workplace safety and health (Medical Examinations) Regulations, They shall undergo yearly audiometric examination.
